Update: Board of Regents Approves Georgia Tech’s Mission Statement

During its May meeting, the University System of Georgia Board of Regents approved Georgia Tech’s updated mission statement. The revised mission statement was developed in response to feedback from internal and external stakeholders. It is one of many foundational pieces included in the new strategic plan.

Phase one — visioning and drafting — of Georgia Tech’s strategic planning process has transitioned into the goal setting phase, including an opportunity for review and input from the Georgia Tech community. More than 5,700 students, faculty, staff, alumni, campus partners, and community leaders shared varied perspectives, aspirations, and dreams to help shape the future of the Institute.
